The good pundits make the medium look so easy – like chatting with your mates down the pub. Bad pundits will have you screaming vitriol at the screen or radio.
It’s a tough gig and goodness knows why anyone would want to do it yet evidently thousands do judging by the huge response to the Carlsberg Fan Squad and talkSPORT’s joint campaign to find the best fan pundit out there with the ultimate prize of being involved at a Premier League ground live on air on the final game of the season.
With the competition now down to a nail-biting five the silver-tongued finalists attended a bootcamp held at Wembley Stadium where they were put through their paces by professional pundits Jeff Stelling and Mark Saggers, and conducted a press conference with Ray Parlour.

All that’s left in the meantime is to wish all five – Kevin Clarke, Jake Goodall, Dan Pickering, Adam Diouri, and Andy Dawber – the very best of luck ahead of the winner’s announcement on Monday May 18th during Drive on talkSPORT.
