Hate him or loathe him you can’t help but admire Ken bates’ armour-plated skin. In an interview this week he referred to Leeds supporters as ‘morons’ before likening the rebuilding of the club to being ‘a bit like sex’.
Over 300 Leeds fans stayed behind after this weekend’s loss to Middlesborough to vent their fury at the former Chelsea chairman. But Bates was unmoved, saying ‘Some fans may nit like me, or agree with me, but you’re stuck with me’. He then claimed to be ‘unimpressed with the demonstrations by a few morons’.
As for his intentions for the Yorkshire outfit the Chelsea pensioner stated, ‘The rebuilding of Leeds United is a bit like sex. In an age of instant gratification, Leeds United is having a long, drawn-out affair with plenty of foreplay and slow arousal.”
If you cannot locate the sick bucket a bin will suffice.
