The Football Association have made an official complaint to UEFA after racist abuse seemed to be directed towards Ashley Young by Bulgaria supporters during last night’s qualifier in Sofia. Such conduct is depressing, archaic and intolerable and, to paraphrase the closing sentence in the video above, we’d rather watch football.
