Inter Milan are preparing for life without their midfield maestro Wesley Sneijder by monitoring fellow Dutchman Kevin Strootman. The PSV midfielder is only twenty-one but has already broken into the national side, making his debut in a friendly last February. Two-footed, full of poise and vision he is a suitable fit should Sneijder leave the Milanese club as expected in the next transfer window.
Bizarrely the source for this story is Sneijder himself who has made it known that he has been asked his opinion about Strootman on several occasions by Inter.
