According to a previously reliable internet source Bolton Wanderers’ gaffer Owen Coyle is being lined up to replace the doomed Neil Lennon at Celtic Park.
The always controversial Lennon is essentially a dead man walking after a hugely disappointing opening third to the season which has seen them trailing already by a massive twelve points to arch rivals Rangers. It is believed that no matter what occurs in the next couple of weeks his time in Glasgow is coming to an end with a dismissal expected in early December at the latest.
Coyle is also experiencing a torrid 2011/12 thus far with Bolton languishing in the bottom three despite a 5-0 tonking of Stoke at the weekend. Whether a move north of the border will appeal to the man who always sounds like he is sucking a sweet when he talks is questionable but an approach certainly seems to be imminent.
