Reports coming out of Spain suggest that Valencia are now firm favourites to secure Dimitar Berbatov’s signiture this January after a prolonged tug-of-war with PSG. The French interest has trailed away in recent weeks leaving the path clear for Valencia who are expected to open the bidding at £10m for the Manchester United striker. The player has fallen out of favour at Old Trafford and is desperately seeking a move elsehwere to reignite his career.
