It’s never nice when a popular gaffer gets the boot, least of all when he provides so much comedy YouTube gold as Mick McCarthy.
Thankfully it’s impossible to keep a good man down and we’re sure Mick will be back prowling on a touchline very soon ordering his full-back in his no-nonsense Yorkshire timbre to ‘knock it to the big man’.
