Having been heavily linked with him in the summer the Cutter understands that Everton are once again revving up their interest in AC Milan’s Keisuke Honda with a low-ball bid planned for the start of January.
The Japanese midfielder was deemed surplus to requirements by the Italian giants after a disappointing pre-season but unfortunately for the Blues the window shut before anything definite could develop. The attacking schemer’s availability is now more apparent than ever however after seven Serie A games that has yet to see him last the full 90 minutes. Milan boss Sinsa Mihajlovic evidently doesn’t fancy him. Roberto Martinez evidently does.
Some newspaper outlets are claiming that Spurs are also in the frame but to our knowledge Everton have the chase all to themselves. Expect him at Goodson before the end of the January window.
