Leeds United fans were absolutely over the moon with the performance of Mateusz Klich in their side’s win over Preston North End on Tuesday night – a result which pushes them back into the play off spots.
A Patrick Bamford brace sealed all three points for Marcelo Bielsa’s men, Klich setting up the English striker’s second, and the fans took to Twitter to herald the 17-cap ace.
The Daisy Cutter has gathered the tweets of buzzing Leeds fans after the Polish star’s masterclass:
Klich ran 40 yards (or was it 50 yards) to put in a belting cross. He’s been outstanding tonight.

One thing that you cannot question is Klich’s energy. The 28-year-old is the most transformed talent under Bielsa and he has taken like a fish to water under the Argentine and his demanding regime. His spectacular stamina was crucial to Bamford’s second and the Leeds faithful are right to single him out for praise.
Bang on mate! Klich has been really good, found lots of space as they're so preoccupied with Pablo. If we get one early.well be fine…I hope.

Klich's best game in a long time. Constantly making those dangerous runs forward, creating space for others. Nice little assist as well. #LUFC

One of the most defining features of Klich this season has been his runs from the middle of the park into an attacking position and while he might not have got on the score sheet, it did get him a well deserved assist. If he can keep doing what he has done all season and get the better of defences, Leeds will be promoted.
All this player of the year talk recently. Klich wasn't really mentioned a great deal. He's class. Proper player.

A fair point. Klich has been a mainstay in the side this season and without him who knows where the Whites would be sitting. Any player of the year conversation at Elland Road has got to include the Polish ace – there are few more deserving stars.
Klich is vital to this team, his constant runs toward from midfield mean we always have an option to pass to #lufc
