As we enter a new month, the Premier League season is really heating up and we’re expecting an afternoon of fantastic entertainment as 14 teams take to the pitch on Saturday.

Here are our tips for the day’s action:

Newcastle United V Liverpool. 12:45PM

Alan Pardew’s men have enjoyed an upturn in fortunes recently but could be in for a difficult afternoon against a Reds side that will be full of confidence following a late turnaround against Swansea in the Capital One Cup.

Liverpool are just two short of the 600 milestone for Premier League away goals and couldn’t ask for a better opponent as they’ve scored more against the Magpies than any other side. We’re backing the Reds to grab those two goals here.

Arsenal V Burnley. 3PM

Arsene Wenger’s men secure a return to winning ways with the 2-0 win at Sunderland last week and will be eager to follow that with a first triumph in four league games at the Emirates.

Meanwhile, Sean Dyche’s men are really struggling to cope with the step up in class and are already in real danger of drifting away. The Gunners are due a big win and this certainly has the potential to be that result.

Chelsea V QPR. 3PM

Harry Redknapp’s side may have claimed a crucial win against Aston Villa on Monday but it is almost inevitable that will lose Saturday’s London derby at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho will be disappointed with the fact his side conceded so late at Old Trafford last week and also voiced his concern at the level of performance in Tuesday’s Capital One Cup win at Shrewsbury. We’re expecting a big response from the Blues and think Eden Hazard could be the man to get the party started.

Everton V Swansea City. 3PM

The Toffees have seemingly turned a corner after registering back-to-back league wins for the first time this season and Roberto Martinez’s men will be looking for another big performance at Goodison Park on Saturday.

Both of those previous victories came via a half-time lead for Everton and they’ll be expected to ease past Garry Monk’s Swansea in a similar fashion, especially after beating them twice here in 2013/14.

Hull City V Southampton. 3PM

Steve Bruce’s men recently picked up credible draws at the Emirates and Anfield, and the Tigers can be confident as they look to roar to success against an in-form Saints. However, Ronald Koeman’s men will certainly pose a threat in the final third

Southampton have scored 13 second-half goals this term whilst Hull boast eight. That should be a recipe for great end-to-end entertainment after the break.

Leicester City V West Bromwich Albion

Nigel Pearson’s men are really struggling on the road but are compensating for that with a particularly pleasing home form and they should pick up three points as they welcome West Brom to the King Power Stadium.

The Baggies might have picked up a shock win at White Hart Lane but generally they don’t perform well on the road. Conversely, the Foxes are still unbeaten at home despite playing Everton, Arsenal and Manchester United. Home win.

Stoke City V West Ham United

The Potters have won eight of their past 12 matches at the Britannia and can register another home victory on Saturday. However, they will be tested by the in-form Hammers.

Sam Allardyce’s men have been superb but may miss the presence of new hero Diafra Sakho. The visitors are still capable of scoring but we have to lean towards a home win.
