Liverpool grafter Dirk Kuyt believes opposition fans dislike him because he is “rich, handsome and a great player”. The wideman has come in for some rough treatment down the years by opposition fans and players alike prompting Kuyt to offer his own assessment.
“People are envious of me,” he spluttered through his mashed-up teeth. “I don’t have any other explanation.”
