Roberts, 20, impressed yet again from the Leeds midfield, and many supporters have since taken to Twitter to heap praise on the former West Brom player.

Roberts played really well against Preston. He created a lot of chances from the attacking-midfield area and linked up well with his team-mates to ensure that the home side’s defence didn’t have a moment to rest. The Wales international has been such a key player for the Whites lately.
Job done for #lufc. A brilliant brace from Bamford, and it was exactly what the doctor ordered. 22 shots for the Whites, who absolutely dominated in the second half. Tyler Roberts is some player, so classy, young and was mind-blowingly cheap #mot

Leeds reportedly paid just £4million for Roberts when they signed him from West Brom last January, and at the moment, that does seem like money well spent by Victor Orta and Thomas Christiansen, who was manager at the time.
Tyler Roberts was the official Rupert Trousers MOTM tonight #lufc

Roberts was certainly a contender for the man of the match award after the win against Preston, however Patrick Bamford’s two goals means that he was surely Leeds’ best player on the night. Luke Ayling and Mateusz Klich also impressed for the Yorkshire giants.
