Leeds United fans were left tearing the first half of first team mainstay Jack Harrison to pieces on Twitter in their clash with Preston on Tuesday night, the winger doing very little to endear himself to the Elland Road faithful.
The Daisy Cutter has picked out some of the Leeds fans’ most furious tweets:
I’m sorry, but I really don’t like Jack Harrison.

I’m sorry but that’s just not good enough by Harrison

Horrific and abysmal might seem strong terms to use but in this instance it was justified. There is just no excuse for a Championship footballer to be getting things so wrong as the Manchester City loanee did from the Whites’ set piece and it just threw a decent chance Leeds had down the drain. With every point crucial between now and the end of the season, they cannot afford to be so wasteful.
How does Harrison start every game?

The fact we are 3rd with Harrison and Roberts in the starting line up is a miracle in its self. #lufc

A valid point made by a number of the Leeds faithful here. Harrison is decent, but when you compare him to the quality that the likes of West Brom, Aston Villa and Norwich City have prowling the wings, it is quite clear that the Whites are punching above their weight. It seems as though his hit and miss nature is starting to grate on those at Elland Road and with a promotion race hanging in the balance you can understand why.
Get Harrison off. Truly shocking #lufc

Marcelo Bielsa has proven in the past that he is not afraid to swing the axe after just 45 minutes but it seems as though the Leeds faithful would have rather seen a change before the half time whistle. Harrison is not only playing for Leeds this season, he is also playing to forge a career in the professional game. After this showing, he is not doing his cause any good.
